Attention Beginners!
Are you just starting out Fly Casting? Have you always wanted to learn to fly-fish? Or have you fished for several years and feel you could improve? This introductory lesson will teach you equipment basics and fly-casting fundamentals that will last you a lifetime. This is a great way to get started in fly fishing!
Attention Experienced Fly-Casters!
Whether you're looking to cast 90 feet to a cruising bonefish or to improve your casting in windy conditions, or get started with Spey casting, a customized lesson will put you on the right track to improving your fly-casting proficiency and allow you to focus on enjoying your fishing time.
Top quality equipment featuring R.L.Winston Rods and Ross reels can be provided if needed. It is not necessary to purchase equipment before a lesson.

On the water instructional lessons
This is not guided fishing, but the opportunity to have instruction in a true fishing situation. This can help you transfer theoretical casting practice into on the water success, by providing immediate feedback which is situation specific. Lessons are 2 hours, 1 hour on the field and 1 hour on the water. You must have wading gear. This can be in a freshwater stream, lake or saltwater wading from shore.
CURRENT RATES
PRIVATE LESSONS - A great way to improve your fly-casting skill to be prepared for those critical fishing situations or the ideal way to get started in this sport.
One student, 2 hours - $100
Two - Four students, 2 1/2 hours - $75 per person

COACHING SESSIONS
Coaching Sessions are appropriate for the fly-caster who has previously taken a few lessons or group classes with me, and is familiar with basic fly-casting fundamentals.
This individual wants to perfect their existing casting technique without introducing new concepts, or is a novice fly-caster looking to solidify proper mechanics and build muscle memory.
These are one hour sessions. $50

We will work with you to ensure that your customers and staff have a customized, productive, positive and fun learning experience. We also have educational hour long powerpoint presentations on both Bonefishing, and Sailfish on the fly!
